Zhe Gu has been active in Ontario’s visual arts community for close to 15 years. In July 2013, she joined the Ontario Arts Council from Gallery Stratford, where she served as Executive Director for six years. Her areas of responsibility have included strategic planning and implementation, curation and collection management, public relations and collaboration, and finance and administration.  Zhe has held positions at several other regional Ontario galleries, including the Grimsby Public Art Gallery and Cambridge Galleries, and as Director of Fund Development and Marketing and the Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery. She holds an honours bachelor of arts (specializing in studio arts, art history and contemporary theory) from the University of Waterloo.
